Listening now and you mentioned RAW right at the front - I just listened to Douglas Rushkoff and Grant Morrison with the author of a new biography about RAW Gabriel Kennedy on the Team Human podcast. I just ordered it and thought you might like!

I saw an article in Aeon a couple of days ago that might be related. Biological evolutionary theory is finding a similar conundrum - life eveolved much earlier in the earth's history than would be predicted if the first organic molecules simply happened by a chance collision. https://aeon.co/essays/life-on-earth-emerged-fast-far-quicker-than-we-thought?

Something other than chance is getting those hydrocarbons together even on a planet that is still mainly boiling magna! Ties in with your notion of a universe that has evolved to maximise the chances of intelligent life.
